Your last measurement should be just about the same as
the 1st two measurements. On a good armature all
three measurements should be the same.
Here is a measurement form a bad armature. The 1st
two contacts will almost be 10 ohms over the original
readings of 18 ohms.

Here is the 3rd and final reading of the bad armature,
notice the extreamly high reading here. Carefull inspection
of the underside of the armature on the contact with the
highest reading will usually yeild a broken wire. In
some cases you will be able to unwind it once and
re-solder it with no noticable impact in the
preformence of that armature. The resistence may
be just ever so slightly off.
Here is a picture of a Bad Armature. Notice
the disconnected wires hanging out to the right.

Here is a reference picture of an AF/X armature.
Notice the 2 Red laminations.
This armature measures about 14 ohms on each connection.
Here is a reference picture of a Tuff Ones armature.
This armature measures about 8 ohms on each connection.

Here is a reference picture of a Mean Green armature.
Notice the copper colored windings and the 2 green laminations.
This armature measures about 6 ohms on each connection.
Here is a reference picture of a Quadralam armature.
Notice the copper colored windings and the 4 black laminations.
This armature measures about 4 ohms on each connection.
